Here are some ways you can help

We understand that not everyone may feel skilled enough to directly participate in a Bible translation work, but rest assured, there are numerous ways to contribute to the project:

Financial contributions are essential to ensure the realisation of this project, as our translators are currently working on a part-time basis. By donating to the Trinitarian Bible Society, you’ll be supporting the translation work and speeding up the translation process, while also freeing up our translators to allocate more time to the project. Your donation will provide the necessary resources to support our translators, enabling them to work more efficiently and dedicate additional time to the Mauritian Creole Bible, and the eventual publication. Every donation, large or small, plays a vital role in accelerating the delivery of the Word of God to the Creole-speaking community.

Italian Trulli Donations are processed through the Trinitarian Bible Society.

If you have experience in translation or proficiency in Creole and the source language (Koine Greek), we encourage you to join our translation team. Your linguistic skills will be invaluable in creating an accurate and accessible Mauritian Creole Bible for the Church.

If you have an eye for detail, are literate in Mauritian Creole, and have a good understanding of scripture, you can assist in proofreading and editing the translated text to ensure its accuracy, readability, and faithfulness to the original text.

You can help by participating in live readings of the translated text and providing feedback. Your input will ensure the Mauritian Creole Bible has the highest possible auditory quality when read aloud.

If you have skills in graphic design, you can help prepare the text for the translators by adding markups that aid software in formatting the source text into their preferred format (e.g. TXT to USFM to RTF). Your contribution in this area will ensure that the translators have their text prepared and ready to be translated.

Above all, we appreciate your prayers for the success of this project. Pray for our translation team as they work diligently to create an accurate and accessible Creole Bible. Pray that the completed Bible will be a blessing to the Creole-speaking churches and believers and will draw many people closer to God.
